What is the Stephenson Scholars Program?

The Stephenson Scholars Program helps chart a path for talented, diverse students at the University of Oklahoma to become the next generation of business and community leaders. Focusing on increasing representation in the telecommunications and technology industries, the program provides underserved and underrepresented students with scholarship funding, leadership development and mentoring opportunities, an internship at AT&T, and a full-time job offer at the end of the program.

The Stephenson Scholars program honors the legacy and philanthropic leadership of former AT&T Chairman and CEO Randall Stephenson, an OU alumnus who remains committed to removing barriers to higher education and economic opportunity for students in need. This year the Stephenson Scholars Program will be awarded to 3 outstanding rising sophomores from the Transformative Tutoring Initiative Program.
